After (Design Concepts)

These homeowners were feeling that their front garden was lackluster. They weren’t sure what it was that was making them feel that way, but they knew they wanted something different & they were interested in getting rid of their lawn.
They have a keen interest in plants, but wanted a garden that would allow them to enjoy the plants without being slaves to them. The front garden was sloped, so each design option offered a low retaining wall to level the space and create a bit more separation between the sidewalk and the house. They also have an olive tree that they wanted to included in a container, and a handful of existing plants that they wanted to reuse in the new scheme, including the two mature rhododendrons that provide privacy to their front porch.
