After (Design Concepts)
This homeowner wants to spend more time outside, but her garden wasn’t calling to her. She lost a large tree in a storm, which made her take a second look at her back garden and decide she wanted something different & better.
She works from home, wants to entertain friends, and rents out some space on Airbnb. So she wanted a space that was sectioned into zones allowing her to have different spots for different needs. I designed a space for growing veggies in the sun, a space for dining, a space for lounging, and a spot for a hammock, and included plenty of yellow flowers, which are her favorite.
Her garden was basically a blank slate with some old crumbling concrete and lackluster lawn. It gets full sun for most of the day so it needed to include shade until planted trees mature.
